UC300 IoT Controller

UC300 series is an industrial-grade LoRaWAN®/4G IoT controller for remote device control and multi-channel data acquisition. Equipped with rich DIO/AI/RS232/RS485/PT100 interfaces, it supports connection with 32 Modbus devices, autonomous offline operation with custom trigger rules, and stable data transmission via dual wireless modes. With an IP30 metal case and industrial design, it enables reliable remote monitoring and control for smart factories, building automation and industrial IoT scenarios.

Deploy a Milesight LoRaWAN® smart irrigation solution across 10 Devonport parks and sports grounds, integrated with Indicium Dynamics’ DataBus and the council’s business management system:

EM500-SMTC Soil Sensors: Buried 5cm deep in sports fields (node housed underground to avoid interfering with play) to monitor real-time soil moisture, temperature, and electrical conductivity.

UC300 IoT Controllers: Connect to existing irrigation systems, receive control signals from the DataBus, and manage irrigation timers/ disabled windows via IF-THEN command logic.

UG67 Outdoor LoRaWAN® Gateways: Strategically deployed citywide to build a stable wireless network, connecting sensors/ controllers to Indicium’s statewide LORIOT-managed LoRaWAN® network.

Indicium DataBus & Weather Station: Collects and visualizes soil/ weather data to calculate soil moisture deficits; auto-sends control signals to UC300 to start/ stop irrigation when thresholds are hit.
